Sun Bear Facts: The Sun Bear is the smallest species of bear in the world and it is also one of the most unique, being the only member of it’s family that has not only adapted to living in the jungle but also leads an exclusively tree-dwelling life. They are found inhabiting the dense, tropical forests of south-east Asia. It also has the shortest fur. One of the most remarkable features of the Sun Bear is it’s long tongue that can be up to 25cm long and is used to extract grubs and honey from nests and crevices. Photo by heavensown
